Our client is a global organisation with a strong presence in the Australian marketplace. This organisation is a leading manufacturer within their niche market sector. Having recently conducted a range of OH&S Risk assessments across their facility, they are now embarking on a continuous improvement program to address all issues that have been identified. As a result, they require additional support to their maintenance team for a period of 3 months or more to complete the necessary improvements. The client is located in the Inner Western Suburbs and is seeking someone to commence in the role within the next 3 to 7 days and be flexible with their hours & overall availability for work. There is overtime that will be made available and you will need to be prepared to perform other general maintenance as work to support the team as required. To be considered for this role you MUST: - Have formal Trade Qualifications
- Have Ideally had previous experience making machine/equipment guards for high speed plant & equipment
- Have strong TIG & MIG welding skills
- Other relevant tickets such as Foirklift Licence, Confined Space, Rigging and even S permit would be highly regarded - but not essential.
- Ideally understand or be aware of AS 4024 to reference to ensure all machine guards meet the standard.
