THE ROLE: - Understanding the customers' needs and wants within each of your product offerings and segmenting their target markets.
- Helping their sales team understand the customer segments and motivations to allow them to identify appropriate opportunities to upsell and cross sell these products and giving them strategies to do this effectively
- Identifying opportunities to improve their products and presenting business cases on how this will improve take up and/or renewal rates
- Understanding the reasons why customers don't buy from them and relaying this information to the marketing & sales team to enable them to overcome these objections
- Conducting market research on their client base and on the effectiveness of our products
- Communicating the benefits and value propositions of your products and any enhancements made to these to the organization so that staff communicate a consistent and effective message to their customers.
YOU: The successful candidate will come from a Sales & Marketing Manager background. They will have formal marketing training and experience in driving sales for an organization. Other important attributes include; - Experience in market research and customer segmentation
- Experience in, or working with an outbound sales team
- Experience working with a CRM system
- Experience in creating and analyzing electronic direct mail campaigns
- The ability to present research findings and strategies to stakeholders
- A passion for analyzing and understanding data.
