This large government department is looking for an experienced Project Manager with particular experience in managing information management and business change-type projects within the public sector environment. The successful candidate will be involve in undertaking a range of projects including several implementations and coordination of a record linkage project. This role will be coordinating and facilitating regular meetings between sponsoring units and has a large component of stakeholder management. To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following: - Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Experience in management, business change processes and budgeting
- Experience in all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation
- Demonstrated capacity to prepare high-level advice and recommendations
- Experience in managing, coordinating and monitoring project workflow
- Demonstrated experience in managing portfolios of work for large complex organisations
- Advanced computer skills in the use of spreadsheets, graphics and project management
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
