This role is to be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Outside School Hours Care service, in accordance with the Service Policies and Procedures, Childcare Care Act and Regulation, Quality Standards, and directions of the Management Committee.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supervision of staff and children and programming;
  
• Administration and management, including the use of CCB, CCMS, Qikkids
• Ensuring that all relevant standards and regulations associated with the operation of an OSHCS are met.
  
• Effective liaison with parents, school and other relevant stakeholders.

- Flexible hours between 6 am and 6 pm. Some split shifts will be necessary.

- Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent qualification as per Childcare Regulation 2003 (Qld).

Skills and Competancies –
Essential:
First Aid Certificate
Current Blue Card (Children’s Commission)
Experience in using CCB, CCMS, Qikkids
Experience in Childcare Centre or Outside School Hours Care

Experience and skills in staff supervision in childcare, OSHC or similar setting.

Desired:
Familiarity with Quickbooks book-keeping package and/or use of similar

Experience in payroll
