Design & Build are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager who specialises in the delivery of commercial construction projects for this leading national Project Management Consultancy.

Our client has a long and successful track record of providing independent project management and property consultancy services enabling the delivery of a broad selection of client requirements.  With a team of highly experienced professionals this team has the necessary skills and abilities to expertly and efficiently support their quite often repeat clients needs in project evaluation, procurement and delivery.

Under the direction of the Project Director, you will be expected to undertake the following:

• Proactively and independently provide professional support to colleagues and clients in service delivery inclusive of scope, time, cost, quality, risk, procurement to achieve desired objectives
• Demonstrate project leadership inclusive of delegation and mentoring of staff
• Communication with key stakeholders encompassing colleagues, clients, statutory authorities, consultants and contractors
• Proactive involvement in business development with the nurturing of existing clients and the targeting of new clients. Proposal preparation, submissions as required and the ongoing development of the company brand with the consultancy market.

To be considered for this role you must possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management or Architecture
• Have worked for either a main building contractor or PM consultancy previously
• Have a succesful track record of delivering mixed commercial construction projects as a PM
• Present strong communication skills and the capacity to adapt to existing and new IT technologies.
• Have the right to work permanently in Australia
