This highly regarded and fast growing organisation manufactures and sells a range of advanced medical products and is recognised as a world leader in its field. This outstanding company is going through an exciting phase of its development and continues to pave the way in the pursuit of new and innovative products used in the diagnosis and management of diseases and conditions.  

They are now looking for a high-calibre and experienced Customer Service/Logistics Manager to join the organisation and become an integral member of a team of dedicated, enthusiastic and committed individuals. This important and extremely interesting role will see you effectively manage and enhance the logistics, procurement and customer service functions of the business. Some of your key responsibilities in this critical role will be:   

  • To manage and staff activities in the warehouse and customer service team
  • Ensure adequate short and long-term planning to meet product demand to forecast
  • Optimise the balance between stock availability and stock investment
  • Manage staff and take responsibility for 3rd party product procurement
  • Manage Customer Service personnel and resources to ensure the highest levels of service
  • The preparation of regular reports for management

 To excel in this key role and have a real impact, you will have:  

  • Relevant experience in warehouse management
  • Relevant experience in managing/supervising customer service function/team
  • Proven ability to lead teams and individuals to achieve desirable organisational outcomes
  • High levels of integrity and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing them successfully

Six Sigma and/or LEAN qualifications would be an advantage as would APICS certification and formal business qualifications. This is a genuinely outstanding opportunity to work for an exceptional organisation, based in Brisbane with an outstanding company culture and dedicated people.
